Our development programmes are designed to train and develop the skills you need to pursue a career working within the Agriculture and Turf machinery industry. The comprehensive 48 month programme provides you with an exciting and challenging opportunity to achieve formal qualifications through extensive product training. As a full-time member of our team, we’ll be with you every step of the way while you put theory to practice and provide invaluable real-world work experience.
The 2025 scheme
You can apply by clicking on this link Tuckwells Apprenticeship – Apply Now and completing the short application form and three assessments. The assessments cover the areas of: English, Spelling and Grammar, and Maths. Please be aware that you must complete the three online assessments otherwise your application will not be submitted.
As part of the process you will also be asked to enter your personal details and then click on the apprenticeship you’re applying for (e.g. John Deere Ag or Turf Tech), you can also state which Tuckwell depot is your preference, if you have one.
Once completed the online form will go directly to ProVQ who are an external company we use to co-ordinate our apprenticeship applications.
Apprentices require GCSE English & Maths at Grade A-C or 4 & above (predicted grades will be requested for those taking the exams this year).

We offer fully accredited John Deere Land-Based Service Technician apprenticeships for:
The course combines on the job training at a Tuckwell depot with blocks of residential training at the John Deere Training Centre in Nottinghamshire. All travel and accommodation costs are covered by the employer.
