We have had a successful few years with our apprentices and long may it continue!
We have selected a few of our exceptional team of apprentices to feature for National Apprenticeship Week. Head to our news page to read more.
We are delighted to announce that one of our talented apprentices, Sam Crichton from our Framfield Depot, has been named John Deere’s Apprentice Of The Year at the graduation ceremony! We are very proud of his hard work to achieve this. This has now been two years in a row a Tuckwell Agricultural Engineer has won this award, with last year being Jack Ramsey from our Ardleigh Depot.

Jack won the John Deere Apprentice of the Year Award in 2022 and we ask his manager how he is gettting on a year down the line… Alan Van De Merve, Ardleigh Agricultural Service Manager says, “Even though I have just started working here at Tuckwells about a few months ago, Jack has made my job a lot easier when advising customers. He has worked some long hours this harvest and never complains when he is asked to do something! He is very pro-active reference diagnosing, ordering, and completing any job. Once the job is complete, Jack writes it up, and signs it off – we very seldom ask for anything reference his paperwork, which is a bonus! For a young man he has a lot of knowledge to give and competent in his job roll, as well as being very patient with any apprentice. I have a feeling he will be a very big asset for myself and the branch going forward.”
