Following the acquisition of Burden Bros Agri Ltd by P Tuckwell Ltd on the 1st March 2021, we are delighted to report that the change of ownership has been extremely well received by our customers, suppliers and employees alike. The teams from both companies are working closely together and are making great progress with the integration of the two businesses.
Over the coming months we will be merging Burden Bros Agri into P Tuckwell Ltd to form one combined business, trading as Tuckwells. We are about to commence a rebranding project that will be rolled out across all our 10 outlets, starting with Stockbury, Framfield and Ivychurch. This will see these outlets rebranded from Burden Bros Agri to Tuckwells.
With Burden Bros Agri being merged it will be necessary for us to make some changes to how we trade with your business going forward.
From the 4th May 2021 all trading will change to Tuckwells. Invoices dated prior to the 4th May should continue to be settled through the existing Burden Bros Agri account. Invoices dated the 4th May onwards will be invoiced from Tuckwells and should be settled through the Tuckwells account, details of which are provided below. During this transition you will receive two statements of account, one each for Burden Bros Agri and Tuckwells. We would ask that you settle invoices through the right account and to reference any payments with your Burden Bros Agri/Tuckwells account number.
If, on the 4th May 2021, there are any on-going maintenance contracts, outstanding orders, or warranty claims with Burden Bros Agri these will be reassigned and fulfilled by Tuckwells.
For a number of weeks, you will still see Burden Bros Agri on emails, vehicles, signs and clothing. All team members, whether branded Tuckwells or Burden Bros Agri are all representing the Tuckwells brand so we ask for your patience as we complete the transition.
