P Tuckwell Ltd announce intent to acquire Burden Bros Agri Ltd

P Tuckwell Ltd are pleased to announce an agreement in principle has been reached to acquire the business Burden Bros Agri Ltd, John Deere’s main dealer for Kent, East Sussex and parts of Surrey. Heads of Terms have been agreed and signed by both parties and the process is now underway to complete the business acquisition over the coming months. This proposed acquisition does not involve any other businesses in the BB⁴ Group of Companies.

The agreement is for the purchase of the entire business and therefore all employees will transfer as part of the sale and the three existing branch locations at Stockbury and Ivychurch in Kent and Framfield in East Sussex will be retained.

The Burden Bros Agri business will operate as normal but under the new ownership and management of the Tuckwell family. Through this agreement we look to achieve continuity for the BBA team and customers while enabling us to continue to build on the team’s hard work and enhance the customer experience.

The intent to acquire shows our total commitment to both the Ag and Turf industry. The agreement consolidates our standing as one of the UK’s leading machinery dealerships and positions us perfectly to maximise the potential of both businesses in a rapidly changing world.
