Our Used Agricultural Machinery Co-ordinator Jess Edwards has been shortlisted for the Suffolk Rising Star Scholarship Award! The Award is about recognising those who are in the early stages of their career but are already starting to stand out, and we think Jess certainly meets this criteria!
We nominated Jess for her incredible work setting up our Used Agricultural Sales department in the midst of the pandemic. When Jess started she very quickly had to find a different way of learning and understanding the job role and the Tuckwell business model. She sought out the advice from the team and quickly set a plan of action into place. More importantly, as time goes on and new challenges come her way she still does this in a very timely and efficient way. Brexit, for example, is one of the latest examples of how Jess adapts, quickly learns and implements changes as she solely was responsible for learning, organising and implementing the way our parts and machines are exported out of the UK to adhere to the legal changes required from the 1st Jan 21. Jess has very quickly become a successful, respected and important part of our team.
The next step for the Suffolk Rising Star Scholarship Award will be to attend an interview session this month with the judges! We all wish her the best of luck!
